Rhonda Bennett obtained her B.S. degree in government from Florida State University in 1981. She entered law school in 1987 after working several years as a paralegal specializing in complex litigation. Ms. Bennett graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 1990 with high honors and immediately entered private practice with the Brooks & LeBoeuf law firm. She became a partner with the firm in 1995. Ms. Bennett has extraordinary organizational skills which allow her to oversee and manage the voluminous materials associated with the firm's complex litigation. She is often referred to by the partners as the firm's "walking library". There is not much she doesn't know, and if she doesn't know the answer off the top of her head, she can usually find it within a few minutes. Rhonda heads our appellate practice. Ms. Bennett has been selected for the Martindale-Hubble Bar Registry of Preeminent Women Lawyers.

Ms. Bennett specializes in the representation of persons who have been injured through the negligence of others, and she has a special interest in protecting the rights of the elderly. She has been instrumental in assisting with the firm's efforts to obtain recoveries in excess of one million dollars including an eight million dollar wrongful death verdict in June of 2006. She also serves as general counsel for Apalachee Center, Inc. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Justice Association, the Florida Justice Association and the Capital City Justice Association.
